Dr. Elizabeth Cherry
Dr. Cherry, originally from central Illinois, has called central Florida home since 2001. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Illinois and went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 1996. After completing a Graduate Periodontal Residency program at the University of Kentucky, where she also earned a Master’s in Oral Biology, Dr. Cherry practiced periodontics in Louisville, Kentucky, for two years before relocating to Florida.
As a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, Dr. Cherry has reached the highest level of achievement in her field. She is an active member of the American Association of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration, the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the Central District Dental Association. Additionally, she has participated in Spear Study Clubs and other regional study groups.
Outside of work, Dr. Cherry enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, watching sports, and being a proud "crazy cat mom" to her spoiled kitties.
